Blackstone Beetle

I'm working on a really cool paper sculpture and needed to make a trip to A.C.Moore in order to find the last few items to finish the project.  While there, I picked up a few more items I plan to use in future projects.
One of the things I wanted to do was to have a large beetle emerge from a pile of black pebbles. The photo shown here is one of the final results. I have to admit that it looked better in my head.  I may explore this idea more in the coming weeks.

Just a side note; I love water drops and it seems like everything is getting sprayed.  Maybe I need to dial back on the water.  Just a little.
