Wood Samples

In my quest to make more and better digital marquetry pieces, I got some rare wood samples.  A friend of mine, Dave, let me borrow two boxes of wood samples he won at an auction several years ago.  Pictured here is one of the box lids and one of the samples.  I am in the process of scanning all the wood veneers into my computer.  They look old and antique to me.  These wood samples are beautiful and some may be illegal to obtain anymore.
