Seahorse. I couldn't come up with any witty titles for this one. I contemplated working in something with seaweed or just weeds, but decided to deviate from the drug reference. So, here he is, just a solitary seahorse. Hey, that title is not too bad. Solitary Seahorse, it is.
Everything was done in vectors using Inkscape.

Seahorse Sketch
I'm working on a new seahorse project. This one, like many of my new projects, will be vector art. All the sketches are finished, including 28 separate pieces of kelp/seaweed. Here is the line work of the main subject. Usually, I can get a feel for how good the final art is going to be by looking at the sketch. I have very high expectations for this one!

Nosferatu
Nosferatu was a silent German horror film made in 1922. It starred Max Schreck as Count Orlok and the monster. My vector art was taken from a scene in the movie where he travels by ship. The old nautical map and compass reinforces the scene.

"Stupid Cape!"
The idea of Batman all tangled up in his cape was something I wanted to do for a long time. But the idea wasn't complete until The Joker was there making fun of him. This is all vector art, accomplished in Inkscape.

Paper Obama
With the political season heating up, here is my paper sculpt of Barack Obama. It is very small at 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", ACEO size.
Some people find it hard to believe that this is a paper sculpture. Here is my pattern sheet that shows what was cut out to create this piece.
